BUILT FOR THE GAP BETWEEN VISION AND EXECUTION.
Further Out is a strategy, systems, and production partner built to help churches, nonprofits, and mission-driven teams move meaningful work forward.
Because having a good idea is not always the hard part.
The hard part is knowing what to do next, connecting all the moving pieces, and finding the capacity to carry it through.
That is where Further Out comes in.
WHY FURTHER OUT EXISTS
Most mission-driven organizations do not lack passion.
They care deeply about the people they serve. They have worthwhile ideas, committed leaders, and work that genuinely matters.
But good work can still get buried beneath daily demands.
The direction becomes unclear. Communication gets scattered. Systems live in one person’s head. Teams become stretched. Strong ideas lose momentum because no one has the time or capacity to connect everything and move it forward.
Further Out was created to step into that gap.
Not to take over the mission, but to help it move.
We bring strategy, structure, creativity, technology, communication, and practical execution together around what matters most.
WHY THE NAME?
The name comes from Luke 5.
As the crowd pressed in around Jesus, He stepped into Simon’s boat and asked him to push out a little from shore so He could teach the people.
The boat was ordinary. It was simply what was available. But used with purpose, it changed the conditions. It created distance, opened access, and helped the message carry farther.
That picture became the foundation for Further Out.
The paper boat in the mark carries that idea forward. A simple sheet of paper becomes something new when it is shaped with intention. It represents the kind of work Further Out believes in: take what is already at hand, use it creatively, and turn it into something that helps the work reach further.
Use what is at hand.
Remove what stands in the way.
Help good work go further.
BUILT TO WORK ALONGSIDE YOU
The work of Further Out is collaborative by nature.
Every project is built alongside the leaders, staff members, volunteers, and partners closest to the mission. Their knowledge matters. Their people matter. Their ability to carry the work forward matters.
Further Out does not arrive with a prepackaged answer.
We listen, find the barrier, and build the next move around the work already in front of you.
DIFFERENT TOOLS.
ONE PURPOSE.
Further Out grew out of years spent helping churches and mission-driven teams turn meaningful ideas into action.
The work has taken many forms, including media, systems, campaigns, events, communication, technology, and community engagement. Through it all, the same thread has remained: see what is needed, use what is available, and help move the work forward.
Further Out is led by Hardison Moles, whose experience in full-time ministry brings a practical understanding of small teams, limited resources, volunteer leadership, and competing priorities.
At the center of the work is a simple conviction:
Take the tools at hand and use them to remove barriers to your mission.
That conviction became the foundation for Further Out.
Our MissionReduce the noise until what matters is clear. Use what is already in your hands with intention. Build something that leaves the work stronger and ready to keep moving.
GOOD WORK DESERVES TO GO FURTHER.
If you are carrying something that matters but need help turning it into action, let’s talk about what is possible.
